PROJECT SCOPE:

The Savoy Hotel is one of the most iconic hotels in London and the stone specification was designed to enhance the first impressions experienced by visitors.

The project included all the hotel public areas including reception, toilets, restaurant and bars where a range of materials were used for flooring, columns, arches and walls

One particular challenge involved making a non-square room feel square to keep the perspective correct as the visitor moves through the ground floor room. Mega Marble solved this by laying a flooring pattern that looks symmetrical but is gradually off-set to create an optical illusion.
